Technical Data íééðëè íéðåúð
I use two camera bodies.
One is the Canon EOS 50e (also known as Elan IIe).
The second one is my old Canon EOS 1000FN (also known as Rebel S II).
I use mainly two lenses:
One is Tamron's 28-200 F/3.8-5.6 LD IF Super. The only 28-200 lens that allows close focusing (minimum focusing distance 0.5m, at 135 mm). Internal focusing (IF) is also very conveniant, when using polarisers and graduate filters.
The second one is Canon's 20-35 F/2.8 USM. A fine ultra wideangle lens.
I sometimes also use my old Canon 35-80 F/3.5-4 USM lens:
I use the Caono Speedlite 540 EZ flash system. A strong flash unit, with Guide number of 54 (m)
I use a polarizer, a Cokin graduate ND filter, an 80A filter (for tongsten photography) and a Cokin orange filter (for B&W photography)

horizontal shooting mode; above/center/below in vertical mode), illuminated by a
super-imposed display. Also eye-activated Depth -of-Field check mark. Viewfinder
Information, Below Image Area : (from left to right) Eye Controlled FocusFocusTM
indicator; AE Lock symbol; flash ready signal; High-Speed Sync in use signal; shutter
speed and aperture indicating LEDs (blinks at 2hz when setting is unsuitable), also
present DEP 1 /DEP 2 information, Calibration (Cal 1 to 3, END -1 to 3); exposure
compensation/ flash exposure compensation indicator; Red-Eye Reduction lamp on/ reduction
progress indicator; in-focus indicator (blinks at 2hz when focus cannot be achieved).
Autofocus
AF CONTROL SYSTEM
TTL-CT-SIR (Secondary Image Registration) phase detection type
using multi-BASIS (Base Stored Image Sensor).
Focus Point Selection
Selected automatically by camera or manually by user. Focus point
selection via Eye Controlled FocusTM.
Film Transport
Film Speed Setting
ISO 25-5000 automatically set in 1/3 step increments according to
DX code. Can also be set manually from ISO 6-6400 in 1/3 step increments.
Film Loading
Automatic take-up with a sprocketless system. Film is automatically
advanced to the first frame when the camera back is closed.
Film Transport
Choice of single frame or continuous shooting at approximately 2.5
fps with film counter revealing frame number.
Film Rewind
Film is automatically rewound at the end of the roll or after 36
exposures with a mid-roll film rewind option. Choice of high-speed (6 seconds with 24
exposure roll) or silent rewind (12 seconds with 24 exposure roll) modes.
Flash
Built-in, retractable TTL automatic flash; pops-up automatically
when needed in low light / backlight situations except when in Creative shooting mode; may
be activated in Creative mode with flash pop-up switch.

Type
Direct-coupling clip-on type A-TTL/TTL automatic flash with AF
auxiliary light (compatible with 5 focusing points when used with EOS 1N), A-TTL
pre-flash, auto zoom, and bounce functions.
Compatibility
All Canon EOS cameras.
Color Temperature
Equivalent to daylight.
Flash Coverage Angle
Auto Zoom: Zoom position is automatically set according to focal
length data received for the lens when the shutter button is pressed halfway (SW-1 ON).
Manual Zoom
Zoom position changes sequentially according to manual operation of
a push button located on the flash unit.
Wide-angle diffusion panel
When the wide panel is manually pulled into place, the flash
automatically zooms to the 28mm position to provide a coverage and angle equivalent to an
18mm lens.
